Christ's Deity
The nature of Christ—that He is both human and divine—is foundational to a Biblical understanding of the Christina faith. Not only did the Old Testament predict the Messiah would be deity, but Jesus claimed to be the Messiah.
Furthermore, Jesus’ deity is a fundamental doctrine for our salvation. As God, Jesus had direct access to the Father; as man, He could reach to humanity, offering the gift of salvation to all who believe.
